The pieces are flat acrylic, not little statues, so if that's what you're picturing, adjust your expectations. The printed detail is nicer than I thought it would be though. She's already asking if there's a different breed for next year.

I ordered the Shetland Sheepdog edition for myself. The counting down part is genuinely fun and the artwork on the acrylic pieces actually looks like the breed, which matters when you own one. Only thing is I wish there were more than 24 pieces. Minor complaint.
